D.LGS. 231 ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL
The Duferco Travi e Profilati S.p.A. Group has adopted an Organization, Management and Control Model, as required by Legislative Decree 231/2001, in order to prevent any unlawful conduct and to exempt the Group and its subsidiaries from the applicable administrative and criminal liability in the event of unlawful conducts potentially prosecutable under the Decree itself.
In addition to the adoption of Model 231, recognizing the importance of social and environmental risks posed by business activities, the Group identifies and manages operational, strategic, financial and compliance risks through the continuous monitoring of the relevant departments.
Among the main documents referring to the Organizational Model is the Code of Ethics which constitutes the collection of the general principles and rules of conduct of the Group, representing a contractual addition having legal value.
The Code of Ethics is the fundamental tool for communicating internally and externally the Group’s commitment to the adoption of conduct based on the highest standards of transparency, integrity and loyalty and on the most rigorous compliance with applicable laws.
The Code is also an essential element of the internal control system and compliance by all the stakeholders involved in the prevention of irregularities and illicit activities.
Since the 2013, a Supervisory Organization has been established and is in charge of supervisory and control attributions in order to ensure the functioning, effectiveness, adequacy and observance of the 231 Organizational Model and to prevent any wrongdoing that may involve the administrative and criminal liability of the Group.
