PRODUCTS
The Group has three production units which hold the complete production chain from liquid steel to finished products: San Zeno with continuous casting products, Pallanzeno with beams and track shoes, and San Giovanni with mechanics
BLOOMS, BILLETS AND DOG BONES
Bloom, billets and dog bones are semi-finished products made in the San Zeno Naviglio plant through a continuous casting process.
ROUND SECTION
The San Zeno steel mill also produces semi-finished products with a round section, with diameters from 220 to 500 mm and a weight ranging from 298 to 1536 kg / m, made directly from the continuous casting process.
BEAMS
The semi-finished steel products supplied by the San Zeno Naviglio plant are rolled in the San Zeno and Pallanzeno plants where beams of different shapes, sizes and qualities are made
EQUAL LEG ANGLES
Equal-leg angles are hot-rolled bars with an ‘L’ profile, where the base and height are of equal length. Are widely used in metal constructions and infrastructures such as cranes and pylons
UNEQUAL LEG ANGLES
Unequal-leg angles are hot-rolled products with an ‘L’ profile, featuring legs of different lengths, which provide great flexibility for specific uses
CUTTING EDGES AND SPECIAL PROFILES
Cutting edges are mainly intended for the production of components for earth moving machines
TRACK SHOES
The wide range includes track shoes with one, two or three teeth are produced in boron steel and heat treated to achieve high wear resistance even in particularly abrasive conditions.
