SBM ROLLING MILL
The Smart Beam Manufacturing rolling mill, launched in 2023 at the San Zeno Naviglio (BS) site, represents a strategic investment that has strengthened the Group’s production vertical integration and equipped us with a state-of-the-art facility for rolling steel beams in the heart of the Italian and European markets.
The SBM rolling mill has an overall production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of long products per year. It was designed as an integrated system with the existing steel mill, following an industrial logic inspired by circular economy principles. The plant allows for the full reuse of raw materials, transforming them into new finished products for the construction supply chain.
We are constantly looking for new talents and skilled professionals, not only for the rolling mill department but also for our steel mill and across all company functions.
